since the last post i have had the chance to visit with an old friend and i find it unbelievable that at one point in our lives, the two of us roomed together, went to africa together and have been friends for about ten years. since our singleness, she married my cousin and therefore became apart of my family (crazy girl), and has had two kids of her own, with her youngest being only three weeks younger than sophie. i have so enjoyed her friendship and look forward to watching our kids grow up together.

scott was proud of the fact she was playing with a light saber thingbeside playing with friends, we have had some great moments together just the three of us...i love the three of us times. be it before dinner or in the morning it is so nice to watch my family grow and interact. these first two pictures are of sophie and her "hat" playing with her dad while i made dinner. the next couple are of her babies...who go almost everywhere with her. the cabbage patch kid was at one point my own (i have three more where it came from too!) pretty sweet to be able to give it to her and watch her love it and rock it...except the fact that she will not leave the shirt on her.
these last few are of sophie in her new pool...kinda beats using the bathtub as a pool...she loves it and if you notice in one picture she is blowing her bubbles (how proud am i as an ex swimming teacher?!) i love the second to last picture...she gets so cold but will not come out.
so this is my family, learning, and loving well together. i feel honored to be apart of them and am so very thankful for the blessing they are in my life.
