peter pan

one of my most favorite scenes in "hook" is when the little boy is looking deep into robin williams face. he takes his little hands and stretches the character of peter pans face from side to side. he tries to eliminate the wrinkles and age, determined to find the pan that he once knew, the pan that he is sure still lives in the old face. after a few moments of careful inspection the little boys face lights up, he takes his hands off peters face and exclaims, its him, its him, its peter pan. he found his peter pan, and the joy of who pan was and is, is recaptured.
