on the road again

after nearly three years of waiting, she is on the road again.

a few months ago, some girlfriends and i were sharing our ideal get away, if only for a few days. at the time the conversation included only the husbands, however tomorrow, our whole little family sets out on my adventure, for eleven days. our route will take us down through Washington's Olympic national park and then along the Oregon coast. with surf boards on top and buckets in hand, the plan is to play on the beaches until it is time to come home.

the van is washed, tunned, detailed and packed. all she needs now is four passengers and she will be off. these are my travel buddies. i can hardly stop smiling. here we go.
