walking in the rain

saturday april 17th we headed out to find adventure.
the spot we ended; Golden Ears Provincial Park: Lower Falls Hike
my partners in crime: Scott, Carleigh, and Gary
with rain pouring down and carleigh's hand finding some kind of poo before we even started, we wondered what it was we had gotten ourselves into... i think at this point we wondered if we were too far gone to turn back a spot where the trail leads down to the beach, a great rest area, especially in the rain
they were wet and very excited to stop and have their pictures taken
showing off their wet bottoms catching rain drops in her mouth we were hiding on the rest of them sun chips = happy kids, until the bag is empty he was happy for the toilet paper the waterfall, we made it... the daveys the werdals hike home, few pictures, fast paced, carried as many kids as we could. dry, and eating...i am sure charlee is getting ready for another adventure. safe and dry. i was sharing with carleigh how thankful i am for my mom and the adventures she and her friend max took all us kids on. how thankful i am for friendships and the memories we are creating with our little families. i feel a responsibility, a desire, an excitement to continue making moments special. to create adventures even in the rain, to help our kids understand thankfulness in all situations. to be thankful for the places the Lord has made and the friends He has blessed our lives with.
we got a little wet walking in the rain, and we loved every moment of it.

love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the rain! and I can't wait to go for walks in it with Rupert! I have already, but he was safely covered in his little stroller so didn't really grasp the true joy of rain! Such precious photos! I love how expressive your girlies are! So alike and so different all at the same time! God is amazing!
