reminded
i was reminded by scott yesterday and today as he played a song for me over and over again by trace adkins "your going to miss this", that truly i will miss this stage of sophies life. as the tears came rolling down my face during the verse about one kid crying, one kid screaming, i know that as much as i wanted that shirt for her, i know that soon enough theses years will be over.
as sophie put herself in time out this morning, i smiled and thought of the good memories this kid is making with us, she is a little on the crazy side, that much is true, but i know that my todays are all i have and those are what i need to hold onto, for sure enough, i'm going to miss this.
