back from the mountains
we have just returned from a week in banff, oh so good to see the mountains. sorry no pictures to post with this blog...as that is my favorite part of reading others i regret the fact i have none for you. however, back to the mountains, scott was in youth meetings for the time, so sophie and i packed up and hiked a few mountains and pathways. it was so good to smell the crisp cool mountain air and to feel encased in a town instead of finding no boundaries. it was important to me to show sophie a part of what i enjoy so very much, and it reminded me of the grandness of our God. it will be important to visit such sights often to refill my soul. sometimes i feel as though i would rather sit there with our God instead of in a church...but seeing as how today is Sunday, i must get going and meet my God in His house.

It's so great to see pictures of you guys. We miss you! Sophie is is such a cutie. Wow, you must be proud! Looks like you 3 are doing well and getting used to Lethbridge (maybe? a little?). Cool that you got to go to Banff...one of the coolest places on earth. I can imagine your joy in being back in the mountains after months in the prairie. One thing's for sure - you can never take the mountains out of a BCer! Thanks for sharing your pics & your thoughts.
