awesome
while using the public ladies room tonight, i asked the girls to stand by the hand dryers, "don't move", were the words i used. stuck inside my little stall i could hear a tremendous amount of laughter and the blaze of those "blast" hand dryers. you know, the ones that actually make your skin ripple with their mega amounts of air being pumped out of them. on shear stance that they probably waste way too much electricity, i tend not to use them, however, tonight i could have no control as my voice to "please stop" were drowned out by the roar of air...who thought air could be so loud. loud and powerful. when i stepped out of the stall, i stopped, mouth agape, heart almost stopping. the girls had been "feeling" the power of the air dryer on their heads...the result, the sweetest short/long i have ever seen. the blast makers ripped the girls hair out, right across their ponytail lines. awesome, a little business up front with a little party in the back, the 80's are back in this house. the best part about today...aside from coloring on the cork board and now the sweet hair do's...this is the first day of my fourteen day stretch on my own...no husband...no help...oh sweet mother, i have sweaty armpits already. and poor sophie is still in tears about the fact that her rapunzel hair has been somewhat delayed. like i said, awesome. {edit: ripped=cut along the pony tail line....they still have hair...just the top parts cut off where it was tied into the elastic band, making that sweet 80's do a rockin' thing in this house.}
dear jenne
dear jenne,
at least you received a picture of beautiful princesses.
i was told they were (they actually said they had to do some) "decorating".
and this is all i got.
kinda wish i had some princesses over here.

our dancers
it seems almost unfair, and yet not at all. we teach them, we prepare them, we ask them to listen and obey when others ask of them, we help them put one foot in front of the other, and then they run without help. they grow without it being noticed and then you see it, and my heart sinks and tears pool in my eyes. did i miss something. pretty sure i just sung you to sleep last night, and i did, you were in my arms but in the morning your growth is evident and your beauty is radiant. you are so lovely, because you are loved.
